Nancy Brister
Sr. Business Process Analyst
Nancy’s extensive knowledge of SAP, including its functionality, underlying data, and University policies, makes her an invaluable resource to the Technology Resources Department. Most recently, she played a crucial role in the development of a .NET application that enables former employees to access their W2 forms digitally. When the team encountered issues with some W2s not resolving to an employee, Nancy quickly identified the cause—.NET’s usual SAP data source included only current employees. She directed the team to the correct table, enabling them to resolve the issue and proceed with development. She also played a key role in the initial data preparation, ensuring seamless access. Her deep understanding of SAP data and tables, combined with her expertise in human resources and payroll processes, allowed the development team to quickly identify and access the necessary data, ensuring a more seamless and efficient implementation. Nancy’s responsiveness, problem-solving skills, and willingness to assist at every step made a significant impact on this project and many others, reinforcing her role as a critical asset to the team.
